Technology Standards and Expectations for Students
Grade 3
1. Basic operations and concepts

Use common input devices efficiently and effectively.
3. Technology productivity tools

Use age-appropriate software applications to create cross-curricular
word processing including opportunities to utilize fonts, alignment, graphics,
spell check, drawing, spreadsheets, and multimedia projects.
4. Technology communications tools
-
Use telecommunications under the direction of the teacher
to access information, communicate with others in support of direct and
independent learning, and pursue personal interests.
5. Technology research tools
-
Use search strategies and technology resources for problem
solving, self-directed learning and extended learning activities.
