You are a historical mystery detective in the 1500s. In that time, same as now, copying the works of someone else was a crime. So, your mission has to do with the law. (In the 1500s, of course. I f you solved the mystery now, the law would have nothing to do with it.) Obviously, you must solve the mystery of Shakespeare's plays. First you will be supplied with information and then you must use your skills to crack the mystery (if you can). Then, you will write a letter to queen Elizabeth II (the current queen of England) explaining your opinion and evidence in a space provided on the page. Remember, many professional historians have set to solve the mystery and have failed, so if you don't have a conclusion, it's okay.
