We celebrate the many successes of the students and staff of the Wissahickon School District.
- The Wissahickon High School was rated as one of the top thirteen hundred high schools in the nation by Newsweek magazine in 2008.

students continue to rank well above the average PSSA test scores
statewide in reading, math and writing for all grades.

- 84% of Wissahickon graduates enroll in a 2 or 4-year college/university program.

- The Middle School Boys and Girls Tennis Teams went undefeated for the third straight year.

- Led by the student council, middle school students are close to raising $30,000 to build a school in Malawi.

- Middle School student Anderson Wang won the State Math Counts Championship and placed 4th nationally.

Grove kindergarten students won a reading contest sponsored by the
Philadelphia Phillies, earning a special school visit from the Philly
Phanatic.

- Wissahickon School District is the only Pennsylvania District which has received the prestigious Standard and Poors "AAA" Rating for financial management.
